The premise

Most "all-in-one HR" platforms make a deal: their opinions about how HR works become your business processes. Hard-coded approval chains. Fixed leave types. Pre-defined salary structures. If your reality doesn't fit, you bend.

We refuse that trade. The platform is opinionated about quality — every feature is well-engineered, audited, and integrates cleanly. But it's uncommitted about which features you'll use, in what order, with what rules. You decide. We configure.

What we configure for you

Shift patterns

Single-shift office hours? Three-shift continuous operations? Rotating week-on / week-off? 12-hour shifts with overnight handover? Configured per-employee, per-branch, per-department.

Leave structure

Custom leave types (e.g. Tirthayatra, Paid Off-day, Festival Leave). Different rules per state of operation. Encashment policies. Half-day vs hourly. We map it all.

Salary structures

Industry-standard CTC breakdowns by default; custom components for unusual pay (per-piece manufacturing, per-trip logistics, per-call telemarketing) on request.

Approval chains

One-step? Multi-step? Skip-level for certain amounts? Different chains for leave vs reimbursement vs offer-letter? Configured per workflow.

Statutory profile

PF / ESI / PT slabs vary by state. We pick the right one based on each employee's branch. New state opening? We add the slab.

Payroll cycle

Month-end? 25th-of-month? 15-to-15 cycle? Multiple cycles for different employee types? Whatever your finance team agreed with employees, we honor.

Discipline rules

"3 lates = 1 day LOP" or "after 4 lates, written warning" or "first 30 mins free, then half-day" — configured.

Roles & permissions

Branch admin who can only see their branch. HR who can see all but not edit master data. Manager who only sees their reportees. Configured to match your actual reporting hierarchy.

How onboarding works

Discovery call (1 hour)

We walk through your shift patterns, leave policy, salary structures, statutory profile, approval chains. No demo yet — just listening.

Sandbox configuration (3-5 days)

We pre-configure a tenant with your specifics. Your shifts. Your leave types. Your salary breakup. Your approval flows. Even your branding.

Pilot run (2 weeks)

A subset of employees punch attendance, apply leave, look at payslips. Real workflow. Real feedback. We iterate.

Parallel payroll (1 month)

For 1 cycle, you run payroll on both Garuda HR and your existing system. Compare line-by-line. Catch mismatches. Adjust configuration.

5

Cutover

Once parallel matches, we cut over. Old system archived. Garuda HR is now production. We stay on call for the first 2 month-ends.
